I grew up in San Diego, went to Westmont
College in Santa Barbara and then attended
Bethel Seminary San Diego for my graduate
degree in marriage and family therapy. The
last 11 years of practicing therapy have
covered a wide range of settings, including
San Diego Hospice, Point Loma Nazarene
University, psychiatric outpatient facilities
and group practices.

Currently, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and own and operate my private practice, where I work primarily with couples, families and young children. Over the last several years, I’ve pursued training and experience in areas of therapy that I believe to be effective, sustainable and transformational. I’m certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy, trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and am pursuing approval as a Registered Play Therapist. I am an approved supervisor through the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT) and supports both students and pre-licensed therapists as they develop as clinicians.
Since starting my own practice in 2013, I’m grateful to have spoken to numerous church groups, been a guest lecturer at several local universities about play therapy and family therapy, and hosted workshops for other helping professionals looking for direction and guidance in growing their own practices.
